Aave’s proposal to freeze Curve founder’s alleged loans sparks controversy

At June 12 AAVE (AAV) proposal to to stop a selected account of accumulating extra debt has sparked controversy, with some members claiming the proposal violates the precept of censorship resistance or “neutrality” in decentralized finance, or DeFi.

Some members consider the account belongs to Curve (CRV) founder Michael Egorov. Cointelegraph was unable to independently affirm who owns the account.
