The European Union debit card supplier for Cryptopay has misplaced its Digital Cash Establishment (EMI) license, in response to a June 22 e-mail despatched to its prospects. The corporate recommends EU cardholders instantly spend or switch funds from their playing cards. Funds held in app accounts are secure, Cryptopay advised Cointelegraph.
Cryptopay used UAB PayrNet, an EMI licensed in Lithuania, to offer its EU prospects with debit card companies. However PayrNet’s license was revoked by the Central Financial institution of Lithuania, resulting in the danger that customers’ funds stay briefly blocked on their playing cards.
