SEC Fines Coinme $4 Million Over ‘Deceptive’ UpToken ICO

The US securities regulator has imposed practically $4 million in fines on crypto alternate Coinme for allegedly providing unregistered securities and making “deceptive statements” about its UpToken (UP) crypto token.

On April 28, the Securities and Alternate Fee (SEC) mentioned it settled the costs in opposition to Coinme, its subsidiary Up International SEZC and the CEO of each firms, Neil Bergquist.
