Human rights group Amnesty Worldwide has taken down synthetic intelligence (AI)-generated imagery it utilized in a marketing campaign to boost consciousness of police brutality in Colombia throughout nationwide protests in 2021.

The group has been criticized for utilizing AI to provide the pictures for its social media accounts, in response to studies. One picture, specifically, was featured by The Guardian on Could 2.
