The U.S. Division of Justice (DOJ) crypto czar is cracking down on decentralized finance (DeFi) hackers and exploiters amid a four-year rise in illicit crypto exercise.

In a Monetary Instances report revealed on Could 15, Eun Younger Choi, director of the Ministry of Justice’s Nationwide Cryptocurrency Enforcement Staff (NCET), stated the ministry was specializing in thefts and hacks involving DeFi, and “particularly chain bridges”.
